Three Years of GO Personnel
Three Years of GO Personnel: Built on Care, Grown with Purpose
GO Personnel was founded three years ago with one clear intention: to make a genuine difference in the care sector. Not just in how agencies operate, but in how they are perceived — by clients, by providers, and by the incredible people delivering care on the frontline every single day.
From day one, caring has been at the heart of everything we do. It guides how we recruit, how we support our staff, how we work with our clients, and how care is delivered within the community. We believe care should always be personal, compassionate, and empowering — promoting independence while ensuring people feel respected, involved, and truly supported.
A Personal Approach to Recruitment
One of the things that truly sets GO Personnel apart is our recruitment process. Every member of staff who joins GO is interviewed personally by our founder, Sarah. This isn’t just a box-ticking exercise — it’s a values-led approach built on lived experience.
After going through a period in her own life where she required personal care, Sarah made a promise to herself: anyone she employed would be someone she would feel comfortable welcoming into her own home. That standard still stands today. We take the time to get to know every candidate, ensuring they are not only skilled and qualified, but also the right fit for GO and for the people we support.
Our staffing team includes Support Workers, Care Assistants, and Community Care Workers, all carefully selected for their professionalism, compassion, and commitment to high-quality care.
Growing with Our Clients
Over the last three years, our client base has grown steadily year on year. We are proud to now work with some of Essex’s leading providers who support adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. These partnerships have given our staff the opportunity to work collaboratively, delivering complex care packages including 2:1 and 4:1 support, while maintaining dignity, safety, and consistency.
Our reputation has been built on trust. We are known as an agency that is reliable, responsive, and committed — no matter the time or circumstances. When our clients need us, we will always do our very best to ensure staff are in place and support is delivered.
Expanding Our Reach
GO Personnel opened its doors in 2022, initially covering North Essex. As we move into 2026, we are proud to now support services across North Essex and Suffolk, with plans already underway to expand into South Essex in the coming months. This growth reflects not just demand, but the strong relationships we’ve built through quality, consistency, and care.
Investing in Training and Development
We strongly believe that excellent care starts with well-trained staff. We place huge importance on education, ensuring all team members remain up to date with mandatory training and best practice.
We are especially proud to have our PMVA training delivered by Alex Scott, who brings a wealth of experience and has supported GO Personnel from the very beginning. This ongoing investment ensures our staff feel confident, supported, and equipped to provide safe, effective care.
Looking Ahead: New Opportunities in 2026
As we continue to grow, 2026 brings exciting new opportunities for GO Personnel. We are delighted to welcome Jane Taylor as our Business Development Manager. With over 30 years’ experience in the care sector, Jane brings invaluable knowledge and insight as we continue to strengthen our services and partnerships.
